Vision 2028
Redesigning our permanent exhibition with your input
We are doing some work at our Museum.
We are creating a new exhibition.
We are changing our exhibition for today’s world.
The world is changing. Our Museum is changing, too.
The work will take place from 2026 to 2028.
The Museum will stay open during this time.
You can still visit.
During the work, we want to remain a place where you can:
- Think.
- Meet.
- Talk.
You can also see our work:
- How we create an exhibition.
- How we show stories.
The new exhibition will open in 2028.
In 2028, our Museum will be 40 years old.
In 2028, it will also be 200 years since the birth of Henry Dunant.
Henry Dunant is the founder of the Red Cross.
We are creating an exhibition with three parts
The new exhibition will show the work of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
It will have three parts:
- The Past
You will learn about the history of the Movement. - The Present
You will understand the work of the Movement today. - The Future
You will think about the challenges of humanitarian action.

Help shape the new exhibition
During the work, you can take part.
You can help us create the new exhibition.
To do that, please answer this question:
How does humanitarian action affect us all?
How can you answer that question?
You can put your answer on a postcard.
You can find the postcards at the entrance to the Museum.
You can:
- Write your answer.
- Draw your answer.
Your answers will be displayed in the Museum.
We will use your postcards to create the new exhibition.
