Family rate

The Museum offers a -25% discount on all individual tickets for 1 or 2 parents accompanied by a maximum of 4 children (aged 12 - 22).

OPENING HOURS

The Museum and Cafe HINIVUU are open:

  • Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm
  • Every Thursday, the Museum keeps its doors open until 8pm, and the café until 9pm.
  • We’re closed on Mondays and on the following dates: 24, 25 and 31 December and 1 January.

ACCESS

On foot

  • From the Place des Nations, take a peaceful stroll through the Parc de l'Ariana (approx. 10 minutes).
  • From Petit-Saconnex or Grand-Morillon, take the Allée David-Morse.
  • From the Jardin botanique, exit towards Place des Nations and join the Parc de l'Ariana (about 15 minutes), or exit towards the pond, then walk uphill to the Château de Penthes, before descending along Avenue de la Paix (about 30 minutes).

By bike

The Avenue de la Paix cycle path takes you directly to the front of the Museum, where there is a 40-space cycle park.

By bus

  • From Cornavin station: lines 8 (Palexpo) or 20 (Valavran), 60 and 61 express (direction Gex-L'Aiglette), Appia stop.
  • From the airport: line 5 (direction Thônex-Vallard) to Le Pommier stop, then line 22 (direction Jardin botanique), Appia stop.

By car

  • From the city center: follow signs for “Palais des Nations (ONU)”
  • From the A1 motorway: Grand-Saconnex exit, direction Geneva.
  • The nearest car park is at Place des Nations, about 10 minutes' walk from the Museum.
  • There is a parking space for people with reduced mobility in the employee car park / Avenue Appia 2.
