Solidarity Sunday – Weaving and Crochet Workshop

Take part in this two-hour workshop and learn the techniques of weaving and assembling recycled textiles. After an introduction to the objectives and tools, you will learn how to prepare the threads: cutting, sorting and winding. You will then be introduced to ‘lirette’ weaving using strips of recycled T-shirts, as well as crochet as a technique for assembling and creating textures. You will also receive an educational document so you can continue practising at home.

This workshop is part of a series of three complementary sessions led by Studio Borlò, under the direction of Hélène. Each session explores a different facet of textile work, allowing you to gradually deepen your practice in a friendly and supportive atmosphere that encourages exchange and creativity
